Ganya baru baru ani tah teliat selipar atu usulnya macam ada tulisan jawi hampir sama dengan kalimah ALLAH.
So, pengajaranya, hati hati ketika membelinya. Selidiki dan pistar dulu sesuatu barang yang kan dibali atu. Kan dikomplen...inda lagi ingat kadainya atu.

Sultan appoints first Bruneian Chief Justice

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday appointed Brunei's first local Chief Justice at a swearing-in ceremony at the Istana Nurul Iman, which marked a legal milestone for the Sultanate.

And it was not one but two as His Majesty also appointed the country's first woman Attorney General.

The appointment of Dato Seri Paduka Awg Hj Kifrawi bin Dato Paduka Hj Kifli, 56, as the Chief Justice was effective Tuesday, Aug 4, 2009 replacing Dato Seri Paduka Mohammed Saied, who had completed his term of appointment.

Meanwhile, by command of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Prime Minister's Office announced that His Majesty has consented to appoint Yang Arif Datin Paduka Hjh Hayati bte Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Dato Seri Paduka Hj Mohd Salleh, High Court Judge as Attorney General, effective Tuesday, Aug 4, 2009.

A prize presentation ceremony was held yesterday afternoon for six lucky winners who participated in the Pelangi quiz competition from July 15 to 17 in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di Pertuan of Brunei's 63rd birthday celebration.

Among the prizes presented were merchandises from Century Travel, QAF Auto Sdn Bhd, HAUS Living Concepts, Vintage Rose and Au Lait café, all of which are b.mobile merchants.

HM's Birthday 63rd Celebrations Postponed

BY the command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam all events and ceremonies in conjunction with His Majesty's 63rd birthday have been postponed as a precautionary measure against the Influenza A (H1N1) pandemic.

This was announced yesterday by Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Hj Adanan Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Seri Setia Hj Md Yusof, who said that His Majesty's titah stated that such steps were taken to prevent further spread of the pandemic, maintain public safety, health and peace in the country.

However, mass Maghrib and Sunat Hajat prayers, the recital of Surah Yassin, Tahlil and thanksgiving prayers will be held as scheduled on July 14 (Tuesday afternoon), with the main gathering at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque followed by other mosques and religious centres throughout the country.

The new Yang Di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan

KUALA PILAH: Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir, 60, has been proclaimed the new Yang Di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan.

The proclamation was made by Undang Luak Sungai Ujong Datuk Klana Petra Datuk Mubarak Dohak at the Istana Besar Seri Menanti at 3.45pm.

The proclamation of the 11th Yang Di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan was made following the demise of Tuanku Ja’afar ibni Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman.

The appointment of the Yang Dipertuan Besar was made according to the “Adat Perpatih” of Negri Sembilan.

Tuanku Muhriz was appointed as the new Yang Di-Pertuan Besar from among the “Putera Yang Empat” (the Four Princes) in accordance with the state constitution in a simple ceremony here Monday.

The other three princes -- Tunku Laxamana Tunku Naquiyuddin Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Ja’afar, Tunku Muda of Serting Tunku Imran Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Ja’afar and Tunku Panglima Besar Tunku Nazaruddin Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Ja’afar -- were also present.

On Sunday, the four Undangs (ruling chiefs) namely Undang Luak Sungai Ujong, Undang Luak Johol, Undang Luak Jelebu and Undang Luak Rembau together with the Tunku Besar of Tampin held a conference behind closed doors to elect the new Yang Di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan.

Born on Jan 14 1948, Tuanku Muhriz received his early education at Sekolah Menengah King George V, Seremban and continued at the Aldenhem School in Britain.

Tuanku Muhriz obtained his LLB from the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth.

Tuanku Muhriz,is the only son out of six siblings of the late Tuanku Munawir Tuanku Abdul Rahman with his consort Tunku Ampuan Durah Binti Tuanku Besar Burhanuddin.

Tuanku Muhriz is married to Tengku Datuk Aishah Rohani Tengku Besar Mahmud of Terengganu and they have three children: Tunku Ali Redhauddin Muhriz, 31, Tunku Zain Al’Abidin Muhriz, 26, and Tunku Alif Hussein Saifuddin Al-Amin, 23.

In 1967, Tuanku Ja’afar, who was Tuanku Muhriz’s uncle, was elected by the Undangs as the 10th Yang Di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan over him due to his youth after his father Tuanku Munawir Tuanku Abdul Rahman passed away.

Tuanku Muhriz is a businessman and a director of Bangkok Bank.

Kemangkatan Yang Di Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan

Yang Dipertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan, Tunku Jaafar Tuanku Abdul Rahman mangkat di Hospital Tuanku Ja'afar (HTJ) pada kira-kira pukul 11.45 pagi ini. Baginda berusia 86 tahun.

Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Datuk Norzam Mohd Nor yang membuat pengumuman itu di HTJ berkata Almarhum baginda berada dalam keadaan tidak sihat pagi ini selepas mengadu sakit kepala dan tidak selesa.

"Baginda mengadu kurang sihat dan sakit kepala pada pukul 8.10 pagi dan pihak HTJ telah dihubungi dan dua Pakar Perunding Kanan HTJ, Datuk Dr Tarmizi Thayaparan dan Datuk Dr K. Sree Raman telah bergegas ke Istana Hinggap di Seremban untuk memberikan rawatan kepada Tuanku,' kata beliau dalam sidang akhbar khas mengumumkan kemangkatan baginda di Bilik VIP HTJ hari ini, lapor Bernama.

Turut hadir ialah anggota kerabat diraja Negeri Sembilan, Ketua Polis Negeri, Datuk Osman Salleh dan Pengarah Kesihatan Negeri, Dr Zainal Arifin Omar.

Norzam berkata ketika dua pakar itu tiba di Istana Hinggap pada jam 8.25 pagi, keadaan baginda terlalu lemah walaupun sedar dan selepas melihat keadaan itu, dua pakar berkenaan mengesyorkan supaya baginda di bawa ke HTJ untuk rawatan segera.

"Berdasarkan itu, baginda telah dibawa ke HTJ dan dimasukkan ke Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU) dan pelbagai usaha telah dilakukan oleh doktor pakar termasuklah memberi rawatan kecemasan.

"Saya ingin memaklumkan di sini bahawa Tuanku Ja'afar telah mangkat pada pukul 11.45 pagi di HTJ," katanya.

Sehubungan itu, beliau memaklumkan bahawa jenazah Almarhum baginda akan dibawa pulang ke Istana Besar Seri Menanti, Kuala Pilah petang ini untuk majlis penghormatan terakhir serta menunggu kepulangan anakanda baginda yang masih berada di luar negara.

Semoga Roh Yang DiPertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan di tempatkan bersama orang yang soleh..amien.
